Bad Vilbel: Money & Cell Phone Theft – Police Require Evidence
A burglary broke out on a downtown avenue of Philbil on Thursday afternoon. In addition to the cash, two of the perpetrators stole a cell phone.
(what happened?)
At around 2:25 PM, a group of five boys between the ages of 12 and 14 from Bad Vilbel in Wiesengasse were contacted and initially requested a change of money. When this was refused, the offenders threatened to hit the boys if they did not give them any money. Apparently, in order to confirm the specific allegation, the perpetrator was said to have strangled a 12-year-old boy and stole his cell phone and money. And since the other four boys were threatened, they also handed over a few euros. With the stolen two-digit cash amount and the already older mobile phone, the two suspects finally escaped via Frankfurter Strasse and toward Südbahnhof.
The Criminal Police has now taken over the investigation and is asking potential witnesses what happened by calling 069 / 755-51499. In particular, the investigators ask: Who has been able to observe the described act? Who did the two sides meet in the subsequent escape?
The two escaped boys who are said to be of the same age as the affected limb are described as follows: Perpetrator 1: male; Longest black hair in joggers and a camouflage hood at the time of the crime. Culprit 2 is said to have wore gray sweatpants in camouflage patterns.
