TL; DR
Razer has just released two new laptops: the Razer Blade 17 2021 as well as a new base Blade 15. The Blade 17 is a desktop replacement that can run 11th generation Intel Core i9 processors. The Blade 15 is exclusive to Razer.com with up to an 11th generation Intel Core i7 chipset.
Just a few weeks ago, Razer released its first AMD-powered laptop, the 2021 Razer Blade 14. While this is a historic release due to its processor, Razer is not on its way to completely abandoning Intel-based hardware.
First, we have the Razer Blade 17, which you can see in the image above. Its advanced configuration includes an 11th generation Intel Core i9 processor, making it the most powerful Intel platform in Razer’s history. The maximum turbo frequency is 4.9GHz, which is really, really fast. When paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, you get a powerful gaming laptop that can easily replace a desktop computer.
If you’re not interested in replacing your desktop computer, Razer offers three display options for the new Blade 17. Are pixels your priority? There is a 4K option with a refresh rate of 120Hz. If you want a good mix of pixels and smoothness, there’s a 2K option with a 240Hz refresh rate. And if you don’t care much about pixels. Just fluidity, there is an HD model with an amazing 360Hz refresh rate.
The new Blade 17 starts at $2,399. However, the top-of-the-line model with all the trimmings will cost you $3,699. Pre-orders are now open on Razer.com and select business partners.
Razer Blade 15 base
If you want something more compact than the 17-inch monster described earlier, the Razer Blade 15 base might be worth a look. It doesn’t offer a Core i9 chipset, but it does offer an option with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070. It’ll also save you money compared to the 17-inch model.

The base Blade 15 model starts at $1,799 with a maximum of $2,199, making its high-end variant less expensive than the entry-level variant of the Blade 17. The 15-inch model is exclusive to Razer.com unless you’re heading near a physical Razer store.
