At the beginning of the school year, students from the Interdenominational Music School will be able to learn about MAO computer-aided music. “The idea is to develop new courses to attract young people. My vision to reach the culture is to open it up to everyone by introducing new practices. MAO is part of it. We have a very dynamic principal and teacher team in the music school and it is really an opportunity,” emphasizes Philip Grever, Head of the Communities Community.
Modern tools accessible to everyone
Antoine Lopez enthusiastically shows how his completely new equipment works and explains its arrival in the school programme: “The idea is to open the school to musical creativity with modern instruments available to everyone. The course will be offered to students who have completed a music theory course and who will be able to continue their musical creativity, with the help of their theoretical bases; it will be It is also open to those who, without theoretical training, have a creative handwriting and a musical ear. The tools offered are very simple and convenient: some of our young students have already used them personally, and the idea is to support them with the experience of our teacher Marie-Lane Riviere, who has trained in this convenient thing.” So far, six computers and six consoles have been purchased, and if the formula is successful, further investment can be considered.
