CS: GO: IEM Fall 2021: This is how the European group stage went

The first major Counter-Strike in two years will begin in October, and teams will battle for the last points lost for the Main Regional Ranking (RMR) at IEM Fall 2021 Europe. Because only those here are allowed to start the mega event. Six teams played against each other in four groups in singles matches – and only the first two teams made it to the next round. The winner of Group A was a team whose name is rarely heard even in Counter-Strike circles: the Copenhagen Flames. The Danes competed around Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen against teams like G2, BIG and mousesports, winning every match. The rest of the group had to fight for second place – and this race remained exciting until the last second: in the end, G2 triumphed over mousesports and took advantage of BIG’s defeat to Copenhagen Flames.

Four-time winner Australis did the same as Flames in Group B and finished unbeaten in front of the Danish fans at home. The Heroic Nationals also qualified directly for the fall games at IEM thanks to a 15-point difference in their matches. The Danes were one of three teams to score 3-2 in the group stage. By the way, they are also eligible for a major.

In group C, things went a little differently. The joint first place between Vitality and ENCE meant that OG had to hope for the middle round to qualify for the main, in which places will be decided from 9 to 12.

The pajama-clad ninjas played in the fourth group and also provided an impeccable group stage. On the other hand, FaZe had to fight for every point after losing to Fiend for an important second place. The Bulgarians could have caused a surprise here.
