A new workplace with a laptop can be created thanks to grants. Now visitors can search, write and print. The team is happy to provide support, for example when creating an email account. This workplace can also access the “Sofutor” learning platform. This offers age-appropriate digital learning materials for grades 1 through 13. Beginning in February, interested parties ages 13 and older can immerse themselves in virtual reality, Library Director Dennis Zink reports. This is possible with the Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset – Wireless Virtual Reality Glasses. According to Zink, it is not only possible to experience the gaming world in a new way, but you can also travel to other places, meet new people, or attend live concerts.
The classic book shouldn’t recede into the background, and that’s how fairy tale time begins. Until the end of February, the team offers promotions for fans of fairy tales large and small. The library is open to everyone every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm. The entire offer is free.
