The new Digital Wellbeing widget for Android 12 shows you information about the daily time you spend on the apps you use often.
Having recently introduced the new widgets for some of the most popular apps like Google Drive, Google Photos, Google Maps, Google Keep or YouTube Music, we now know that the American giant is working on a new widget for Android 12 that will tell you if you spend a lot of time on your mobile .
Introducing Screen Time, Google’s new digital wellbeing tool
While analyzing the v1.0.416751293 beta version of the Digital Wellbeing app, the guys from 9to5Google discovered that the US company is working on a new tool for this app called “Your Screen time” which, as the name suggests, will show you how much time you spend on the apps you use often.

As you can see in the screenshots we leave for you below, this new Digital Wellbeing widget is compatible with light and dark themes as well as with the new Android 12 theme engine, which changes the interface color according to the color of the screen.
This new digital wellbeing tool comes in multiple sizes, although you should keep in mind that the smallest, 2×1, only shows you total screen time.
If you also want to know the time you spent on the three apps you use the most, you will have to choose the 2×2 format. Any of these widgets can be enlarged a bit to take up more space on the screen, but you should know that when the widget is large, the most used app appears At the bottom.
