5d-VR: What is this?
Since 2011 the teams have been creating augmented reality solutions, and since 2014 they have been originally in introducing virtual reality into this region of the world. Their name: “5d-VR,” meaning “the fifth dimension,” was not chosen by chance: it comes from their belief that virtual reality is such a disruptive technology that creates a new dimension to the human experience.
Interactive learning experience
The company’s project aims to create an interactive learning experience that can be played in a multiplayer mode that educates young people in several topics such as remote sensing and space science. For this, they decided to use the latest technologies of virtual reality and augmented reality through stories. The game itself consists of discovering three main stages with several scenarios and learning space science through a fun adventure with the advice of a guide embodied in the form of a 3D character, who presents it with different topics: remote sensing of satellite parts, launching a satellite, the solar system and many more topics. This experiment teaches different age groups scientific content that is difficult to learn in theory, all using play and easy imagination.
