With its new build studio, Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ), a subsidiary of the European aircraft maker’s business jet marketing company, is impressing customers. Unveiled Saturday at its Blagnac (Haute-Garonne) location, this studio allows wealthy clients wanting to get a jet-setter to showcase themselves in the machine and personalize its interior. It features a full-size ACJ TwoTwenty cabin compartment, providing twice the space and volume of any competition aircraft.
“We are very proud to open this creativity studio for our clients,” confirms Benoit Deforge, President of ACJ. Our ACJ TwoTwenty program provides unparalleled personal space with over 70 square metres. It is important to make them feel the space and absolute comfort that you provide. We provide our customers with an immersive, real-time design experience. »
80 million dollars
Thanks to the integrated use of virtual reality, customers arrange their space as they like and see the computer-configurable rug. The choice of materials, the colors of the armchairs, the polished wood veneer or the painted metal finishes, it’s all customizable in this $80 million (about 75 million euro) device. They will also be able to choose one of the three cabin atmospheres available.
Since it was created ten years ago, ACJ has seen an increase in activity since the health crisis because many customers prefer private flights to avoid commercial airlines. There are more than 210 Airbus business jets in service worldwide.
