ASUS Launches New ROG Zephyrus G16 Gaming Laptop Powered by Powerful AMD Strix Point APU Starting at $1,899.99

As we reported at Computex 2024, it looks like the GA605 will feature an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. AMD Ryzen AE9HX 370 As a major improvement over previous models, the ROG Zephyrus G16 continues to offer a 1600p, 240Hz OLED display paired with a 90Wh battery. Additionally, ASUS equips the latest 16-inch gaming laptop with LPDDR5X RAM running at 7500 MT/s, along with a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.

Currently, ASUS sells four ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605s in the US, two on its online store and two at Best Buy. However, the company only distinguishes two of them by their color options. In short, ASUS has created three versions of the ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA60, which differ in GPU, SSD, and RAM. For reference, here are the three versions:

  • ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA60 (GA605WV-G16.R94060) – $1,899.99
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (105W TGP – Dynamic Boost) / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD
  • ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605 (GA605WV-XB96) – 2,099.99
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (105W TGP – Dynamic Boost) / 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD
  • ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605 (GA605WI-XB96) – 2,229.99
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (105W TGP – Dynamic Boost) / 32GB RAM / 2TB SSD
