Powkiddy X35S: Anbernic Competitor Launches New Vertical Gaming Console With Copied Design and External Display Support

Additionally, Powkiddy has decided to ship the handheld with a 16GB MicroSD card and a choice of secondary 32GB, 64GB and 128GB MicroSD cards to store ROM files on. As shown in the images below, these files will be displayed on a 3.5-inch display that Powkiddy uses IPS technology with full OCA lamination and a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Additionally, the company has paired this display with a pair of joysticks, four shoulder buttons, ABXY buttons and a medium-sized d-pad.

Ultimately, the X35S looks very similar to the RGB20SAnother Powkiddy portable. However, it is based on Rockchip's more powerful RK3566 chipset, which also powers the processor. Additionally, the X35S features a 3,000mAh battery, a Bluetooth modem for external controller support, and an HDMI port for connecting to a TV or monitor. Currently, Powkiddy charges the following for the latest retro gaming console through its online store, with no additional charges for color variants:
