Computers were distributed to high schools in Lodève, Clermont and Gignac.

It has now become almost a tradition: at the beginning of the school year, all second-year students in the Occitanie region receive a laptop. This operation was first initiated by Georges Frisch in Languedoc-Roussillon, and has since been extended throughout Occitanie, without any resource requirements for the recipients.

This Monday in the heart of Hérault, it was the regional councillor Fadhila Ben Ammar Koli, also vice-president of the community of municipalities of Ludivois and member of the boards of several high schools, who presided over the handovers. She was accompanied by Baptiste Brouatteau, member of the regional youth council, whose mission is to evaluate and improve public policies in the region, especially those relating to young people.

Providing a laptop is just one aspect of the many actions undertaken by the district responsible for managing high schools. Textbooks, sports, a freeze on cafeteria prices and an internship placement platform are part of the arsenal the community has put in place to provide an optimal education for all high school students in Occitanie, and the computer remains the most popular aspect of this device.
