Activision’s official Call of Duty Twitter account teased Snoop Dogg’s arrival in Warzone, Vanguard and Call of Duty Mobile with a short video showing golden dog tags and smoke.
While the tweeted video doesn’t announce what role the rapper will play in each title, a previously leaked skin suggests that Snoop Dogg will at least be a playable operator for use in Vanguard and Warzone. The client who shared the infamous Call of Duty leaker “ZestyCODLeaks” has since had his skin removed, but showed a Vanguard-themed Snoop Dogg wearing a gold chain, fedora, and goggles.
Looking at the dates shown on the dog tags in the video, players can expect the Snoop Dogg to debut in Call of Duty Mobile on April 1. It will later arrive in Warzone and Vanguard on April 19, but it seems like a missed opportunity not to save Snoop’s entry on April 20.
Of course, this wouldn’t be Snoop Dogg’s first appearance in the Call of Duty franchise, as the popular rapper also appeared in 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts as a voiceover DLC pack. Players can purchase the Snoop narration to replace the game’s combat announcer to add more flavor to the Ghost multiplayer mode.
New downloadable content for crossover rappers will follow this year’s Call of Duty with Attack on Titan, which features Levi and Armored Titan-inspired packs. Additionally, players can expect major updates coming later this month for Warzone and Vanguard with the upcoming Season 2 reloading update.
