More mature and technical than the first Airpods Pro to bear the name, the Airpods Pro 2 effortlessly place themselves at the top of the hierarchy of true wireless headphones, alongside a few other competitors.
If the build quality is fairly standard, Apple's innovation is one of the most compact products (especially the case) of its kind. Thanks to the best current ergonomics, on par with the Jabra Elite 10, these semi-in-ear headphones adopt simple but complete ergonomics, which covers all functions. On the other hand, if you assert that they are ideal everyday headphones, all the conveniences will only be truly unlocked with iOS smartphones.
Active noise reduction has not been neglected, we are entitled to a peak in terms of bass and mid-range sound isolation. The treble (passive isolation) could only be improved, as it's less attenuated than in-ear headphones like the Sony WF-1000Xm5.
Finally, the sound quality, balanced and nuanced, shows that a path other than full bass is possible. Despite their minor flaws, the Airpods Pro 2 are the most complete wireless headphones out there right now.
