Amazon launches a surprising Kindle device – in color! | Technical tools

If you're like me, you're a big fan of kindleI have good news to tell you: They will be releasing one color soon!

Baptized on Kindle ColorsoftClearly, the first Kindle with a color display represents a real development for fans of comics, manga, or “comic” books. With Colorsoft, we'll finally be able to see everything we've photographed correctly, while still benefiting from the excellent reading comfort of e-readers. Obviously, the colors will not be as pleasant and the 300 ppi screen will still be gentle enough on the eyes. This allows you to take advantage of colorful book covers, detailed illustrations, and of course, highlight paragraphs in different shades to better organize your notes.

Its processor has also been updated, which will allow you to turn pages faster, and the battery will last for 8 weeks. For charging it will be wireless/USB-C and the Kindle will be available in a 32GB version Amazon October 30 For just under 300 euros.

They also announced a new version of the Kindle Scribe device that allows you to write on the screen with a stylus, including access to artificial intelligence for making summaries…etc. The Paperwhite, my daily love, will now have a 7-inch screen, fewer bezels, a more contrasting display, and up to 3 months of battery life. It will also be available not in the colorful display but in different colours.

Amazon is also emphasizing security and customizing your experience as it will now be possible to activateTwo-factor authentication to your Amazon account, thus enhancing the protection of your personal information.

In short, Amazon continues to innovate by incorporating advanced technologies into its devices, and the arrival of the color display with the Kindle Colorsoft is, in my opinion, a big step forward. Additionally, using AI in Kindle Scribe opens up quite a few new possibilities for taking notes and organizing ideas.

Anyway, I'm very happy that I'll be able to read my comics and manga on it instead of my iPad which I still find less practical, more bulky and less waterproof for showering ^^

note: Yes, you pre-ordered it!
