Android 15: This native feature should finally benefit from the long-awaited improvement for years

Currently, when using screen recording, a red icon appears at the top right of the screen, next to the battery level icons, Wi-Fi, etc. However, this is the only information revealed by the interface while recording a video. Likewise, when you want to stop the recording session, it is necessary to lower the bar by swiping down from the top to see the screen recording notification and the current recording time, thus being able to stop the function.

Redesigned interface for easier, less intrusive screen recording

This is very inconvenient, especially since this manipulation then appears at the end of all your screen recordings. Fortunately, it seems that Android is about to change the use of this native function, which is essential for regular use in 2024. Recently, Android revealed the beta version 4.5 of Android 15, and many users were able to share their discoveries. A journalist from AndroidAuthority was able to see the benefits of screen recording in this new update with a redesigned interface and a much better overall practical application.

So, from now on, when you start a screen recording, it is possible to see the recording time right next to the dedicated icon, at the top left of the screen. It is now also possible to directly press this icon to stop recording immediately. Furthermore, the screen recording starts after just a few seconds to prepare the user so that he has time to prepare what he needs to show in his recording.

Note that this new interface also works for screen recording, with a new timer displayed at the top of the screen and the ability to stop casting with one click.
