Google has just started rolling out Android 15 to compatible smartphones. Service introduced first, brand pixels.
Without warning, Google releases the new version of its operating system. Symbolically, it chose October 15 to distribute Android 15. Since 6 pm, owners of smartphones – and tablets – from the brand have been able to install it.
The German branch of Google made a mistake this morning by publishing the announcement of Android 15, before quickly removing it. But the email has been sent to the users. A few hours later, we got confirmation that something was indeed happening.
Android 15 is finally arriving on Pixels, two months after the release of the Pixel 9, the first generation of Google smartphones to start life under an older version of Android.
How to install Android 15?
To update your Google Pixel phone to Android 15 you must go to the device settings by following this path:
System > Software updates > System update
Android 15 download weight is 1.44GB on the Pixel 7 Pro and 1.07GB on the Pixel 9 Pro, as seen on Frandroid.

In addition, satellite messages began to appear. It allows you to send and receive messages without the need for a mobile or Wi-Fi connection.
These features come with others thrown in in a particularly generous Pixel Features Drop.
