Arcep launches call for applications for new mobile frequencies in overseas territories

Interested operators have until October 1 to apply for certain frequencies abroad.

Orders to launch frequency allocation procedures in the 1800 MHz and 2.1 GHz bands in Guyana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin, Réunion and Mayotte, and in the 900 MHz band in Guyana, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin and Mayotte were published on 17 July 2024 in Official GazetteThe deadline for submitting application files to Arcep is set for 1any October 2024 at 12 noon Paris time.

Part of the frequency use licenses held by external operators in the 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2.1 GHz bands will expire on April 30, 2025. The allocations relate to frequencies that will be available on 1any May 2025 in these gangs.

Candidates have until August 27 to announce themselves and thus obtain any additional information that may be relevant in addition to the electronic procedures for submitting application files. Any requests for information on the procedure must be sent to Arcep no later than September 3, 2024. All this so that the procedures are completed by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
