With Beast Canyon, Intel wants to drastically simplify building a gaming PC. However, the design is a matter of taste.
Intel already introduced a new version of the NUC (Next Unit of Computing) form factor at CES 2020. In this five-liter modular gaming computer called Ghost Canyon, there was room for a graphics card. Now, as part of Computex 2021,

The successor to this concept is offered with a volume of eight liters. The systems are powered by H mobile processor, the user should take care of the graphics card by himself. It does not have to be a very compact model, as the sleeve also allows the use of cards in full length and width of up to two slots.
The H mobile processors integrated into the system were only recently introduced. These range from Core i5 to Core i9 and can draw a maximum of 65 watts from the power supply. What specific changes Intel is still planning for the system remains open. It can be assumed that users in the system will have a LAN connection, several USB connections, and a modified cooling system. The look of the case has also changed dramatically compared to its predecessor, Ghost Canyon: Instead of a simple look with matte surfaces, Beast Canyon shines with a high-gloss and mesh finish. It appears that Intel has also increased the RGB effects. There is a glowing green skull in the front. There are even small LED lights in the facades. Beast Canyon is scheduled for release later this year. Prices are likely to be high, after all, the predecessor’s i5 model already paid $1,250.
