In 2021, the municipalities involved in the local diagnosis wanted the D2 Association to work in the entire Calac region. This is why it was necessary to envision mobile equipment serving the region.
For two years, D2 has been looking for funding, and at the end of 2023, the mobile kitchen project could be launched.
“We succeeded thanks to the help of Carsat, MSA, the Region of Brittany, Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne and Malakoff Humanis,” says Rachel, delighted.
The mobile kitchen is equipped with four induction hobs, an oven, a fridge, a 55-litre water tank, another for waste water, and “even a bilière”. It has a large food-grade stainless steel work surface that allows for workshops, cooking classes, catering, etc. It also has drawers for storing crockery.

Two highlights of this summer
