Bernau/Barnim: Last Saturday morning, a 19-year-old woman from Bernau was stolen from her mobile phone on her way home in the S-Bahn to Bernau.
At the Friedenstal train station, a mobile phone was snatched from her, and with the quick help of the Barnim police, it was quickly found.
Beautiful evening behind a young woman from Bernau when she came home with the S-Bahn on Saturday morning. At about 3:50 in the morning she arrived at the Friedenstal train station – with only a few people in the wagon, including some young men.
She sat comfortably in her seat and spent her driving time with podcasts on her cell phone. Already at this point I noticed that some young men were slowly approaching. Finally, the two of them got off around 3:50 am at the Friedenstal train station. When the departure signal went off to continue Bernau’s journey, the third person suddenly grabbed his cell phone, snatched it from her and jumped off the S-Bahn seconds before the door closed. She was still trying to follow, but the door was already closed. The thieves waved from outside toward the departing train, smiling with their middle fingers outstretched.
Still completely shocked by the situation, the young woman asked the other passengers for help to report it to the police. Another woman immediately gave the victim her cell phone to call the police. They arrived at Bernau train station within a few minutes and immediately began their first investigations and closer search. During this time, all nearby train stations were also kicked out.
Meanwhile, the victim tried to locate her device with the help of another cell phone. And now he is working. The search showed the stolen mobile phone at 4:32 am in Spreeallee. A police car immediately went to search, but did not find anything. However, the police arrested three suspects using multiple cell phones.
After a short time, the mobile phone was located again. Thanks to a very careful search by a police officer, a well-hidden mobile phone can be found without a cover, but otherwise. The three suspects, aged 16, 17 and 31, were identified and interviewed. You will now have to respond to the theft.

Even if this theft ends slightly, the victim will surely remember this act for a long time. With a relatively detailed description, we want to express our thanks on behalf of those affected to Barnim Police, who were promptly on site and spared no effort to help here. Many thanks to the lady who made her cell phone available to call for help and locate. At the same time, alerts and awareness of the boldness of the type of theft must be raised.
And therefore; Be careful when outside and at night, sit in the S-Bahn, if possible, close to other passengers or in the driver’s carriage.
