Changes for the Swiss and the Turks in the game you should play

BAKU (Reuters) – Switzerland tweaked its defense while Turkey revitalized their midfielder in their first match in Group A of the European soccer championships in Baku on Sunday.

The Swiss, who had a point after the first two games, changed the formation of the background as Sylvain Wieder favored Kevin Mbabu, while Fabian Schar was eliminated, replacing Ricardo Rodriguez in defense and allowing Steven Zuber to enter the left flank.

Turkey, who lost to Italy and Wales, have a new midfield trio made up of Can Ayhan, Ozan Tofan and Irfan Can, with Hakan Calhanoglu occupying the left flank. He can train with Merih Demiral and Mert Muldur.

“We were disappointed in defense and attack,” Turkey coach Senol Gunes said on the eve of the match, warning of the changes.

The Swiss team is expected to advance with victory, while the winning Turkey will have to wait for the results of the other group before knowing if they advance to the playoffs.

A draw in Baku would eliminate both countries.

Italy and Wales meet in the other group match with Italy already with six points and Wales with four.
