Wine ownership Maison Rivier, in Chusclan, has just launched a mobile app available on iOS and Android.
This is Gard’s first range and one of the first to launch its app in France. “The idea was born with the Iris Agency, to deal with the new consumption habits, the habits of youth, to be innovative and forward-looking”Matthew Riviere explains. The winemaker loves to experiment with things, and in recent years has set up an educational vineyard, a folk art exhibition about farm skipping or even events, like last year’s Bon Entendeur.
It’s doing it again this year, with The Avener arriving June 9 at the estate. Places run like hot cakes, but Matthew Riviere chose to leave some for sale exclusively on the app. “Users will be notified directly of the sale of tickets on the app, and tickets for the following evenings will be sold exclusively on demand.”He says.
An application where you can of course buy estate wines in Click and Collect.

Maison Rivier just planted 2,500 lavender at the entrance to her holding, which is a story “Development of biodiversity in real estate, as well as wine tourism”says Mathieu Riviere.
The estate is recruiting a work study student to operate 60 hectares of vineyards and 350 olive trees, which are labeled “high environmental value”, and which they plan to convert to organic next year.
