Culture: Roslyn Bachelow stresses that the cultural sector will continue to receive support “as much as necessary”

Traveling to Dijon on Friday 28 January, the Minister of Culture indicated that the state would mobilize one billion euros by 2030 to support the digital transformation of the world of culture. “No country has done what France has done to support the cultural sector,” said Roslyn Bachelot.

Auditorium attendees will benefit from the lifting of restrictions. As of February 2, the scale has been removed. February 16 will see concerts return with a permanent audience.

“We have always helped the various organisers of the show, the staff as well, especially the intermittent workers,” recalls the minister, “we will continue to help them (…) as necessary.”

In all, 14 billion euros have been allocated to support the cultural world since the beginning of the crisis. Roslyn Bachelot insists that “no country has done what France has done to support the cultural sector”.

(…) Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality , Metavers … At the same time, we have to manage the emergency and prepare for the changes that exist. That is why with Plan France 2030 and the Investment Plan for the Future, we are investing a billion dollars [d’euro] In the culture sector so that the culture sector prepares for these developments.
