An investigation by the Judicial Police of the Traffic Police Department in Vercelli revealed the fraud department.
The investigation began last May when a patrol from the Vercelli Traffic Police Department, in the surveillance service, searched a Vercelli County man, who was driving a van which resulted in the load of several pieces. Counterfeit clothing and equipment, in particular, 806 items including protective masks and sports equipment related to various national and international football teams. T-shirts and face masks, with printed names and game numbers for different players, were directed to stalls usually found outside stadiums or local markets. Accordingly, the man was reported to the judicial authority for the crime of imprisoning, for the purposes of trade, products bearing counterfeit trademarks, as well as the crime of receiving stolen goods, while all the counterfeit goods that were found were seized.
Investigations conducted by the Judicial Police Team of the Traffic Police Department in Vercelli made it possible to verify in addition to the fact that the counterfeit products had been completely counterfeited and specifically the clothes bearing Adidas, Nike, Kappa, etc. that what has been reported, ie football club logos, colors, sponsors, etc., has allowed us to rebuild the entire chain of production and sale of counterfeit goods, right up to a small village located on the banks of the Oglio River in the province of Bergamo, namely in Palosco, In the province of Bergamo, a small family-run laboratory has been identified which, in addition to the production of ordinary goods, specializes in the reproduction of sporting goods (various clothes and paraphernalia) but, given the period of the epidemic, also in the production of protective face masks with the emblems of all national football teams But also for important griff masks such as Gucci, Chanel, Dolce, Gabbana, Dsquared, Nike, Adidas, etc.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Bergamo, searches were carried out in the industrial area of Palosco and in some houses where printing works were confiscated, where 1,224 pieces of clothing, tools and other imitation masks were prepared and ready. found for sale.
In particular, inside the printing house, illustrators (machines for printing on canvas) were found and seized with clichés inside ready to print the Juventus shirt 22 for footballer Chiesa and 9 for Atalanta for footballer Muriel.
Also in this case, the products were seized along with the machines and the owner, a man of Campania origin, was notified by the judicial authority of the crime of producing and selling counterfeit products.
