Want to ride a helicopter, parachute, or board a train? All in a few minutes? It is possible in Brest. “Illucity joined forces with Backlight Studios to create this experience, and the game has won many awards,” says Ophélie Renaut, Director of the Foundation.

The adventure lasts about thirty minutes. It is collective, there should be at least three. Once the helmet is on his eyes, the player must choose a character, which can be a unicorn, a robot, an astronaut… He immediately lands in a helicopter and must lock up the crazy monkey in a toy box in which he casts spells on all the toys.

“You have to take several means of movement. The adventure begins with the player sitting in a dynamic seat. Then he gets up and moves freely in a room of 120 square meters.”

During the game, each member of the team can see and help each other. He has a laser in his hands to shoot the crazy monkey. At the end of the half hour, the player may feel as if he has gone through several instances. Recovery time is required. Some may have a bit of a headache, it must be said that within 30 minutes the game takes us through different worlds.

Thrill seekers will also be able to try out the Illucity escape games, including the possibility of almost climbing the pyramid.

The Illucity program reopened on June 23 after seven months of enforced closure. In the future, an additional development is planned in front of the first building, on the first floor of the Ateliers des Capucins, with two complementary play areas.
