Gameloft, a studio famous for mobile games, today announced a new project: Exploratio. The mobile game has, among other things, the ambition to refresh the image of the French language and discover its diversity, and is expected on March 20 on the App Store and Play Store.

See Exploration

exploration It is a fun, stimulating and accessible experience for all. It is an invitation to play with words and to explore the riches of the French language, in all the French-speaking world as we know it. Created with the support of The French Ministry of Culture and the Quebec Office of the French Language (OQLF), building on French Speaking Dictionary (DDF) and on the work of OQLF, exploration It takes you to discover the tesseracts galaxy. Galaxy where you will have to solve puzzles and overcome many challenges, alone or with others.

All sergeant represents a different subject (Gastronomy, work, environment, body, mind, etc.It consists of several proofs. Thus, through question-and-answer games, fill in the blanks, puzzles or even crossword puzzles, you will learn more about the richness of the French language. You will learn, for example, that a tin can in Quebec is called “cane sugar.” You will also discover expressions there, such as “to beautify the beak” or “to make beauty”.

All this in an environment playful, with rewards throughout your adventure, which will give you access to the next pieces. A suggestion that our Secretary of Education, Mrs. Roslyn Bachelot-Narquin liked very much:

Gameloft has put all its expertise to the service of Exploratio, thus creating a unique and innovative video game. With the support of France and Quebec, this game will offer to discover the thousand and one treasures that the French language sometimes overlooks. In random tesseracts, bonds will be created between players who, together, will explore the riches of the language. Hence, the Exploratio will demonstrate the cultural vitality of Francophonie and make it shine in the world.

What do you think of this initiative? Are you interested in the project? Feel free to tell us all about this in the comments and on our networks (FB & Twitter). Don’t forget that you can already pre-register to download the game when it’s released on March 20th. And for me, I wish you a good match and tell you next time GeekNPlay.
