FranceTV Sport VR: Enjoy an unprecedented sports experience with our new app available on Apple Vision Pro and MetaQuest virtual reality headsets

France Télévisions innovates by offering a unique immersive experience: immerse yourself in the heart of sporting events thanks to 360° 3D videos and spatial audio but also thanks to the gaming part that allows you to become an Olympic athlete (only available on MetaQuest).

With the FranceTV Sport VR app, immerse yourself in the heart of the biggest sporting events covered by France Télévisions, in 360° and 3D! Explore places that are usually inaccessible, and relive the key moments of the competitions with France Télévisions presenters, as if you were there. But the immersion doesn't stop there: discover exclusive reports that decode the sports disciplines, their techniques and their secrets, as close as possible to the athletes. And if being a spectator is no longer enough for you, try your hand at some of the disciplines by testing our game modes, in the programme: climbing and shooting!

Spectators will benefit from exclusive virtual access to the France-England crisis (Six Nations 2024) and a rich and unique programme: players' entrance, national anthem, spectaculars and behind-the-scenes with commentators Mathieu Lartot and Dimitri Yatishvili. Move from one sport to another with a simple gesture and enjoy the privilege of access to the most sought-after areas of Roland Garros: watch the triumphs of Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek on the Philippe Chatrier court and discover behind the scenes of the France TV set with Laurent Loyat and guests such as Patrick Mouratoglou.

This app is the result of an internal collaboration between the Sports Department, the Technology and Information Systems Department and the Factory (Real-Time Graphics Unit) with the support of publishers Immersiv.io for Vision Pro and Jungle VR for MetaQuest.
France Télévisions is one of the first content publishers for the Vision Pro (Apple) headset, which was released on July 12.
