French football fans will be treated to a treat! The free operator is partnering with DAZN, the sports streaming platform and Ligue 1 McDonald's channel in France, to offer free and exclusive access to the highlights of the French championship via the Free FOOT app, formerly known as Free Ligue 1. This new offer will be available from the start of the 2024/2025 season.
According to the press release, the new Free FOOT app will provide highlights and summaries of eight matches from each day of McDonald’s Ligue 1. The broadcast will be almost live, meaning you’ll be able to see the goals, highlights and key moments of the matches just minutes after they finish.
Other than that, Free FOOT goes beyond simple snippets and summaries. The app will also feature in-depth analysis from football experts. The latter will decode matches, player performances and tactical issues, giving you a more complete view of the game. In addition, exclusive content such as player interviews, training behind-the-scenes and reports will enrich the user experience.
