Cologne – Video game journalist Jeff Keighley will be shown on the live broadcast platform tomorrow night Gamescom 2021* Opening of the show at Opening Night Live. At the two-hour party, fans from all over the world will not only be able to see new games and trailers, but also an array of prizes. As with every year, this year’s most promising titles will be honored with the Gamescom Awards – and the nominees for Gamescom 2021 have already been decided. A movie that won’t come out until 2022 is this year’s favorite.

The Gamescom Awards have been presented every time the show has been held for over ten years. Each year a jury of experts votes on which games will receive an award in one of the 24 categories. Meanwhile, the organizer has also announced the nominees for the Gamescom Awards at Gamescom 2021. For each category there are three games to choose from, which can win one of the coveted prizes.
