The response itself has a strong connection to the world of video games. The company runs its own game studio, participates in initiatives in the B2B sector and maintains an internationally successful team with “Reply Totem eSports”; So the initiators of the Response Code Challenge focused on gaming this year.
The Online Global Reply Code Challenge is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022. Entrants can either prove themselves in the Standard Edition for students and professionals or in the Teen Edition for young programmers between the ages of 14 and 19.
The Standard Edition has been enriched this year by the University Student Association. The new program allows each student to compete in their own team and university. The university with the highest score wins a prize – a scholarship for a university project or an arcade game in a common room.
The tasks of the participants of the “Teenage Edition” come from the areas of logic and mathematics. Also this year there is the “Train and Win” program – a platform for teachers and their pupils, which has become a programming studio. Several trainings and educational materials to prepare for the international competition are available here until Thursday, March 10th.
This year, students can practice the Code Challenge for three weeks, collect points and start a real competition between the different participating schools. At the end of each training week, the school with the highest score receives a cash prize to be invested in educational initiatives.
Teams can submit any solution they developed during the competition period, using any programming language including C++ and Python. Finally, the three algorithms that score the best in the tests make it to the platform.
With the launch of the Code Challenge, Reply opens the 2022 Reply Challenge season. This year’s Code Challenge will be followed by the April Investment Challenge, designed to introduce students to financial investments, and the Creative Challenge in May, the largest in Europe for young innovators. The conclusion is the October Cybersecurity Challenge, which focuses on discovering vulnerabilities in software and computer systems.
