Hades is the highest rated game on the next generation consoles

After being released on PC, MacO, and Nintendo Switch in September 2020, the recent arrival of “Hades” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S has made the gravy-like RPG title from Supergiant Studios the most popular game. All versions are on the new generation of consoles.

“Hades” is currently one of the biggest phenomena of player culture, creating such a sensation that it was a strong candidate at the latest edition of “The Game Awards”, as well as being awarded “Game of the Year” at the 2021 Edition of the Game Developers Choice Awards, as well as Winning “Best Design” and “Best Sound” awards.

Just a week after hitting the next generation of consoles (last Friday, August 13), Twisted Voxel reported it as number one on Metacritic’s charts, scoring 93 on its PlayStation 5 version, followed by Demon’s Souls. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 (90 =, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (89) and Disco Elysium (89).

In its Xbox Series X/S version, “Hades” currently has a score of 94, beating Microsoft Flight Simulator (90), It Takes Two (89), Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 (89) and Tetris Effect: Connected. (89).

Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch version of the game, the first console it was available on, is currently the fifth highest-rated game on this platform with a score of 93. Top places are taken by The House in Fata Morgana (98), The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (97), Super Mario Odyssey (97), and Divinity: Original Sin II (93).
