While waiting for the release of the stable version of Android 12, T-Mobile is taking the lead by announcing which phones customers can expect to receive the update.

T-Mobile’s Desmond Smith (aka Des) took to Twitter to share the updated list of phones OEMs are developing Android 12 for, which currently consists of 12 models. This includes some of the best Android phones from OnePlus, Samsung, and Google, as well as the REVVL V+ from T-Mobile.

Smith notes that the list isn’t complete, which makes sense since many recent Samsung devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 aren’t listed. LG is also notorious for its notable absence, though the company has promised as many as three major updates to devices like the LG Wing.

Android 12 beta 5 was released in early September, with Google claiming that the official release of the stable version will come “in the coming weeks”. So far, everything indicates that Google has been pushing the stable release next week, October 4th, which seems perfectly reasonable.

However, phones outside of the Pixel may not receive Android 12 until later, as Samsung recently launched its One UI 4 beta program. Thankfully, T-Mobile’s roster gives users extra peace of mind, knowing that the update is in progress and in progress.
