The search for the missing 25-year-old woman from Dahlbroch is in full swing in Helchenbach. Another path leads to Breitenbachtalsperre.
Police and firefighters began searching for the 25-year-old jogger late Tuesday afternoon. She was last seen on a Monday afternoon in Dahlbroch on Schmidtseven Street.

The missing 25-year-old left her usual area of life on Monday without prior notice and has not been available since. She did not go to her workplace on Tuesday. The mobile phone is switched off. The missing woman left her personal belongings at home while traveling without her car. “The missing person is currently in a state of acute psychological emergency, which means that endangering himself cannot be ruled out,” the police statement said.
Search by dogs and helicopters in Hilchenbach-Dahlbruch
The missing person is 1.75 meters tall, skinny, with brown hair and gray eyes. She was last seen wearing a tracksuit: black shorts, purple and blue sneakers, and a white shirt. It is currently not clear if she is still wearing these clothes.
Cars from several Helschenbach firefighting units and several police cars gathered at the SMS car park in Dahlbruch. She also asked for dogs to search the area and police helicopters. A search was conducted in the area where missing persons live in Schmidtseven and in Breitenbachtalsperre. Drones were also used by firefighting teams and a technical relief organization.
Meanwhile, there have been numerous indications of the 25-year-old’s possible whereabouts. Police said Wednesday morning. However, the information has not yet led to the clarification of the case. Search actions resumed at full speed.
A mobile phone was found in the forest near Schmidtseven
The district police demanded additional external forces should arrive in the morning. The assembly point for the emergency services is now the headquarters of the Florenberg School in Helchenbach.
The woman’s cell phone has since been found in a wooded area near her home.
On Wednesday afternoon, police focused their search on the Breitenbachtalsperre district. The Siegen-Wittgenstein Water Society noted that the barrier at the entrance to the water treatment plant rang twice at night: once on Tuesday night at 1.45am, and again on Wednesday night at 4am.
