An HP PC usually has a particularly simple feature that allows it to be restored to factory condition with a single press of F10. You can still restore with a DVD specially designed for this purpose. Here how to do it?
Create a recovery DVD
To restore your HP PC to its factory version, you must first create a recovery DVD. This is an intermediary whose purpose is to start the recovery process when the computer starts up. To do this, click on the Start menu and then on All Programs. Then press Ctrl + F to bring up the search field in which you will type Recovery Manager. Once this folder is displayed on your screen, select Recovery Disk Creation. Press next and voila. Don’t forget, however, to provide at least 3 DVD’s because the corresponding file is too large. Of course, you will need to pre-number each disk in order to correctly insert them when restoring.
Reset your HP computer
Turn off your HP computer, then start it up by pressing the power button. Then press F9 before starting the walk. Normally, this procedure should bring up a page called Boot Menu. At this moment, you must therefore enter your DVD number 1 while selecting the CD/DVD medium in the list using the direction arrows. A simple press of the enter key will start the reset process. You will be sure that it is working properly when a window for downloading files appears on your screen. After that, all you have to do is choose the system installation language and follow the instructions that Windows will dictate to you.
