Do you have so many bookmarks saved in your web browser that you don't use them to their full potential, or even at all? We have some easy tips for you, but often neglect them or forget to organize things so that they become useful again.

How to categorize your favorites in your web browser to enjoy them better

We are on the web, browsing the sites we like, and deciding to add them to our favorites so we don't forget them…

This is all well and good, but if you're like me, you quickly end up with an endless list of favorites in your web browser, to the point where you no longer see what's there.

If so, it means you need to clean it!

Organize your favorites by creating folders.

Creating folders, an easy solution that we often forget

If there is one function that is easy to use, but we often forget about its existence, it is the function of folders. We can create them not only in our documents, but also on the web browser!

All you have to do is right click on the displayed bookmarks bar and choose Add folder…It's the same naming across major web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

From here, it's up to everyone to create their own management system, but here are some ideas:

  • a job;
  • entertainment;
  • Work crew;
  • Accounting, etc.

Next, we add popular shortcuts to our favorite pages in these folders. They can also be renamed to make them easier to find.

Preferred Institution Overview Example francoischarron.com

Next, it is interesting to note that all pages can be bookmarked, which helps a lot in finding our way and being efficient in navigation.

For example, if francoischarron.com could be added to your “Info” folder, when we click on the link, it would take us to the home page.

Alternatively, we can put the news section directly, the contests and winners section as well as the Facebook related news section in a folder, like this, giving us instant access.
