How to download and activate your eSIM card on Free Mobile

An eSIM, or electronic SIM, is a digital replacement for a physical SIM card, providing greater flexibility to manage your mobile phone plans. Especially when we are on vacation and don't have a store or terminal nearby to issue a new sim card in case of a problem.

We remind you how to activate and install your eSIM once you order it from Free Mobile.

Step 1: Connect to your subscriber area

First, to activate your eSIM, connect to your mobile subscriber area from a computer. Use the associated username and password to access your account.

Step 2: Go to the eSIM section

After logging in, go to the section My SIM card Then click on My eSIMThere you will see the option I activate my eSIM cardNote that if you do not activate it manually, the eSIM will be activated automatically after 14 days, and the button will change to I download my eSIM card.

Step 3: Download your eSIM card to your phone

There are two ways to install your eSIM on your phone: automatic installation (recommended) and manual installation.

Automatic installation (recommended)

1. Scan QR Code : Use your phone's camera or a QR code scanning app to scan the QR code provided.
2. Enter the confirmation code Once you scan the QR code, you will be asked to enter the verification code.
3. Auto download Your eSIM will be automatically downloaded to your device.

IManual installation

If you prefer manual installation, follow the instructions below according to your phone's operating system.

For Apple devices (iOS):

1. Open Settings : Access the application Settings From your iPhone.
2. Add a cellular plan :Go to Cellular data Click Add a cellular plan.
3. Manual data entry : Follow the steps to enter the required information manually.

For Android devices:

1. Access Settings : Open the app Settings From your Android device.
2. Download SIM Card We meet Networks and Internetclick on the icon + Then select Download SIM card instead.
3. Need help? : Follow the instructions to enter the SM-DP+ address, activation code and confirmation code.
