Discord has a lot of great features to keep you connected with your friends, but sometimes you might want to keep your activity private. Whatever your reason for wanting to hide the game you’re playing on Discord, here’s how to do it.
How to Hide the Game You’re Playing on Discord
To hide the game you’re playing on Discord, first go to your account settings by clicking the gear icon in the bottom left corner next to the mute and mute buttons (PC), or click your profile picture in the bottom right (mobile) corner.

Once you are in your account settings, scroll down to Activity Status. Disable showing current activity as status message. Your status will still show if you’re online, inactive, or away, but it won’t show the games you’re playing while logged into Discord. You can still use all functions like Discord to stream the game, but your status will remain invisible.
How to change your game status on Discord
To change your game status on Discord, click on your profile picture in the lower left corner and set your status under Your Profile (PC), or go to your account settings and change your game status under Settings. If you don’t want people to know you’re online on Discord, you can change your status to Invisible, however, other users won’t be able to see if you’re online.
