How to restore GOG Galaxy to the previous version
After the update, if the game you are trying to play does not work, try to roll back this GOG Galaxy game to the previous version. However, if you want this feature to work with your game, make sure you don’t roll back any previous updates released to the master branch.
- Run GOG Galaxy on your PC.
- Choose a game.
- Click Customize.
- Expand the Installation Manager heading to select the configuration option.
- Under the Install screen, uncheck Update automatically to the latest version.
- Select the desired older version.
Please note that the option to go back to a previous game version in GOG Galaxy is not available with all games. Here’s how to check and go back to the old version.
Access the GOG Galaxy launcher on a PC and select a game from the list.
Then click Personalize located in the upper right corner, right next to the icon player button.
