The functionality was quickly developed to allow a copy of all or part of the visible screen, on a computer as well as on a smartphone.

To take a screenshot with your Samsung smartphone, the most popular way is to hold down the Power On/Off and Volume Down buttons simultaneously. When you do this, the screen starts flashing and the screenshot is saved. On some Samsung phones, you have to press and hold the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time. Likewise, once this is done, the screen flashes and the screenshot is saved.
On other Samsung smartphones, to take a photo, simply swipe the screen with the edge of your hand, from right to left or vice versa. Previously, you must have activated the “Swipe to capture” function. To do this, go to the settings of your phone, click on “Advanced functions”, then on “Movements and gestures”, and activate this function.
Also note that once you take the screenshot, it is automatically saved to your gallery.
