On Thursday, police discovered and punished about 50 traffic offenses during the main inspections in Frankfurter Weg in Paderborn and in Salzkoten in Langestrasse.
22 drivers attracted attention because they used their mobile phones while driving. The 27-year-old BMW driver who used his mobile phone in Langestrasse immediately admitted to the mobile phone violation during a subsequent check. He gave the police false personal details, but is upset. The man did not have a driver’s license in his real name. Criminal charges are now pending against him and another driver who was arrested without a license.
Emergency services have imposed six warning fines on those who do not wear seat belts. 12 speed offenders also to drive. Four drivers were prosecuted for speeding in the fine proceedings.
