Immerse yourself with a trainee during Nantes Digital Week

The Chamber of Trades and Crafts is organizing two days of demonstrations and discussions focusing on immersive solutions used in vocational education at the University of Nantes.

Demonstration workshops with free admission will be offered from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They will present the VR solutions used in the training centers. About thirty professional scenarios will be demonstrated in VR: for example, locking a hybrid vehicle, working on an electrical cabinet without interrupting the production line, etc. There are many situations or processes that are difficult to realize in a workshop or in a company but can be implemented in VR.

“I Live My Life as a Learner” 360 Degree Immersion Workshop

The workshop will also provide the opportunity to discover the “I live my life as a learner” course in a 360-degree immersion. This course presents all the stages that the trainee goes through from his arrival at the training center until his immersion in the company.

A roundtable conference is being organized to discuss all the questions we might ask ourselves when we want to integrate immersive solutions into our educational progress, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm to 3:30pm in the university auditorium (By registering on the site https://www.reseau-canope.fr/service/solutions-immersives-dans-lenseignement-professionnel).

This roundtable will bring together specialists in teaching and scenario creation, as well as Bertrand Wolf, co-founder of Antilogy, a company specializing in consulting and publishing virtual reality solutions.
