The RNC Mobile app arrives in a new version that brings a couple of novelties, including a new way to discover aggregation available on 4G.
The RNC Mobile project team announces the arrival of a new version of its mobile application. Stamped 4.0.61-22107, this is synonymous with a new method for aggregation detection available over 4G. “Before, we could detect by neighboring cells (PCI) all those identical to those on the main bus (display PCI in black video reflection). But a few days ago, Free Mobile changed all PCIs to 700MHz frequency, forcing us to Correct the application. So note that mismatched PCIs that are in the same sector as the bus master are now shown in gray video reflection, and their ones are still in black reflection”detail to developers regarding this new assembly discovery.
The new version also provides the range used in the screen (black and white font). “When a smartphone aggregates multiple frequencies, the app displays the spectrum of each frequency on the BW line. For example, imagine aggregating 700MHz + 1800MHz + 2600MHz. BW will show 10 + 15 + 20 MHz. It is the width of the spectrum”the RNC Mobile team explains.
The RNC Mobile application, freely available on the Play Store, allows Free Mobile subscribers to learn more about the antennas in the service, and to enrich the database by searching for the operator’s antennas and running speed tests.
