Heilbronn TUM Heilbronn has been loaning virtual reality goggles to students in Production and Logistics courses since this semester so they can attend lectures and simulations in virtual reality. Professor David Wuttke sees great potential for virtual reality in teaching.
It’s almost as if you are sitting in a real lecture hall, as the lecture is about to start. Only that the room is not real. Thanks to the VR headset, you can see everything in 3D and you can even move or your avatar with the help of the controllers in your hands – down the stairs, to the seating area for a group discussion, on the chair in front of the screen on which the presentation appears . It looks very realistic
