TO Gate of Baltur3 They work approx 400 people Divided into seven different studios, many more than initially planned, as announced by the founder and CEO Lauren Studios, Sven Winke.

In an interview with PC Gamer, Vincke explained that during the construction of Larian Studios, Baldur realized that Gate 3 would be a very ambitious project. So there were two solutions, reducing it or hiring new employees.

“We thought we’ve figured it all out. We also valued how big we should have been as a studio,” Vinke says.

“I never expected that there would be 400 of us to build Baldur’s Gate 3. No one expected it. But it really was what we had to do. We had a choice. There was a moment when we started to understand what we had to do. To create this game. We thought we understood. Then we realized and we had two choices: we could measure Boulder’s Gate 3 or increase the number of staff so we decided to zoom in.
