These 17 Xiaomi devices will not receive HyperOS 2.0. They are nearing the end of their update cycle at Xiaomi. Therefore, the brand is not expected to release the new HyperOS update for these models. Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 will be based on Android 14 and Android 15. If your device is running Android 13, then we have bad news for you. No Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO models running Android 13 will get HyperOS 2.0. The mentioned devices are running Android 13.
HyperOS 1.0 was a UI based on Android 13 and Android 14. The new HyperOS 2.0 is meant to be compatible with the latest Android versions, which is a bad thing for users of older models. If your device is stuck on MIUI 14 or HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 13, don’t worry. You will continue to receive security updates for a while. If Xiaomi adds your device to the EOS (End of Support) list, you will be able to extend the life of your smartphone by using custom ROMs from third-party developers.
