“There are about ten of us in the association based between Montbrun, Grassac and Ecoras. We offer a group of about thirty artists living in the Charente, the Dordogne, Vienne, Haute-Vienne and even Bordeaux who play throughout the national territory but want to get more involved locally. It can be music, theatre, dance, clown shows, etc.,” explains Marion Martin, originally from Saint-Bruget and in charge of the production on a voluntary basis.
“Cara Bouffe” was very appreciated by a large audience gathered at the end of July next to the Marthon station and the bike stream, thanks to the CDC in La Rochefoucauld – Porte du Périgord this Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is located on the Rochebertier island next to the Moulin de la Pierre in Moulins-sur-Tardoire. “It is an old caravan from the 70s that we have decorated with hundreds of flowers and in which we make, dressed up, homemade things such as pies, delicious cakes, iced tea but also beer thanks to the brewery Nobody by Gaëtan Puyravaud. It is not a simple food truck because we have set up a complete scenography for more than three hours with the broadcast of old French songs, vinyl records, turntables or flower umbrellas. The goal is to set the mood by associating or not associating an artist, a duo or a trio. »
“Theater and Bingo Boom Workshops.”
This Wednesday, it will be Périgourdin de Javerlhac's “Kasper & son Pianomobile” who will liven up the early evening with his piano bar and his songs ranging from Brassens to Pink Floyd, from Piaf to the Beatles via Chopin, disco or Béruriers Blacks.
In addition to “Kara Bovi”, the association “La vie là” promotes two other activities. “We offer Bingo Boom, a game and dance experience inspired by the lottery and prosperity. We bring to life a moment of exchange and extraordinary fun for about fifteen people with many costumes, make-up, unexpected music on vinyl and twisted rules of the game. All under the direction of DJ Trop-To, Vi-Gilles and Imperator Fiber Glass in a colorful, rustic and scenographic world,” explains Marion Martin.
Finally, after last year's Grassac, director and storyteller Hélène Piovin will host theatre workshops from September 17th in the Charras village hall every Tuesday from 5:15pm to 6:45pm for children and from 7pm to 9pm for adults. Enough to move, raise awareness and promote artistic expression in the Val de Tardoire and even throughout the Charente department if the town council or the community is interested in the productions on offer.
