The Consulate General of Morocco in Naples organized this weekend a mobile consular service in Bari, Apulia region in southern Italy, with the aim of bringing its services closer to the Moroccan community in this city.
The local action was well attended by members of the community as 627 people withdrew or deposited applications for national cards, passports and various documents, according to the consulate.
Other services were also provided, including registering Moroccan citizens and providing legal advice. The Moroccan community that settled in Bari welcomed the interest in this type of consular travel, the consulate adds.
On the occasion of this operation, which took place within the framework of the established health measures, the Consul General of the Kingdom, Abdelkader Nagy, met with political figures in the region, in particular the mayors of Bari, Lecce and Latiano. The status and role of the Moroccan community in terms of active participation in the development of this region at various levels, as well as the various prospects for bilateral cooperation.
