Announced in September 2021 and expected to be released this fall, the upcoming Gundam animated series has recently given us some new information, including visuals and a teaser.
Scheduled from October on MBS and TBS anime channels Mobile Suit Gundam – The Witch of Mercury He’ll first get an introduction that will air this summer. In addition, the first images and the teaser reveal the main character who will be the heroine, the first in the Gundam TV series. Note that this is the first original series since 2015, when Mobile Suit Gundam – Iron-Blooded Orphans aired, with the exception of the “Build” anime dedicated to gunpla. The cast of the series is still unknown.
And so we discover the first three machines in the series: the Gundam Aerial (which is likely the heroine’s machine), the Gundam Lfrith, and the Beguir-Beu.

Before The Witch From Mercury airs, two other Gundam anime will be released in Japan: The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Special Edition series, a rework of the upcoming original series on April 5, and Mobile Suit Gundam – Cucuruz Doan’s Island which will be released on June 3 in Japanese cinemas.
