MSI “Meta Ready” With New Gaming PC

MSI just took advantage of CES to make some crazy ads with 16 different products. Back to MSI gaming computers here.

Since the beginning of the week, we are starting to get used to being attacked by us newsletter Everywhere. But the MSI introductory conference brought us face to face with the wall. In fact, the company did not offer one or two models, but well … sixteen!

If we are not going to study them all in detail, then let’s already get to know what these products have in common. The first point, and certainly the most important one, is that these computers contain the latest 12th generation chip from Intel. In addition to this pure power, all PCs have the latest generation Nvidia graphics card, from the RTX 3070 to the most advanced model in the segment: the portable RTX 3080 Ti.

Stealth GS77 and GS66: Stars of the Evening

Within its wide range of new gaming PCs, some series names still sound more familiar than others. In fact, Stealth GS77 and GS66 are responsible for a generation of the brand’s popular products. Presented by the brand as the flagship of the year, they are light and powerful PCs. The GS77 model is based on a 17-inch screen, while the second model has a slightly smaller screen size at 15.6 inches.

Another small difference between these two models, the GS77 has a phase-changing liquid metal in its core for better cooling management. These two devices are sold in different configurations up to 64GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In terms of weight displayed on the scale, the GS77 strays at 2.7kg, while the GS66 weighs just 2.1kg.

Rider GE76 and GE66: the best ever

It hasn’t been presented by MSI as the brand’s best PC, but the two new Raider models are definitely the most powerful products MSI has been able to unveil. With a 12th-generation i9 processor and Nvidia graphics card, they appear to be carbon copies of the Stealth models shown above. The four computers also share the same UHD, QHD, or Full HD display depending on the configurations. The refresh rate ranges between 120 and 360 Hz, depending on the model.

But what sets Raider computers apart is their cooling system. In fact, the latter is much more powerful which allows Raider to reach unrivaled power by another MSI computer. The brand assures that this should allow gamers to enjoy a smooth and clear experience, in all conditions.

Vector GP76 and GP66: The New Kids

Two new Vector models have just arrived in the MSI range. The Taiwanese brand wants to make it a benchmark in the gaming world by offering products that are more efficient than ever before. Rather than being set aside in the past, the MSI GP range with this new name will become a true guide to the company.

Today the brand is proud to announce that its computers are capable of hitting 210 watts thanks to the MSI OverBoost, versus 220 for the Raider range shown above.

Crosshair, Pulse, Sword et Katana

In the rest of the announcements that MSI released this year at CES, the brand was also noted for its partnership with French studio Ubisoft. MSI has already introduced three new models within its Crosshair range. In addition to the two expected editions, 17 and 15, the brand is offering an exclusive version of Crosshair 15 inspired by the hit game Raimbow Six Extraction.

Like Pulses, these computers are sold by MSI as recognizable among thousands of computers with their unique design. In the Pulse models, GL76 and GL66, airflow circulation has been improved by 5% compared to the old generation thanks to Cooler Boost 5 technology, which is present in almost all models of this year.

Finally, two versions of the Sword and Katana set are designed primarily for gamers. The idea is to give them the best possible sensations with complete products, using Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards, as well as a 12th generation Intel i7 processor.
