Mystery in the Cellar: The Mysterious Summer Game in Lali's Cave

Throughout the summer and until August 31st, Cave Laly is bringing you a puzzle game, Mystery in the basementAs a detective, you will explore the store for clues and discover Burgundy wine.

In the heart of the Côte de Beaune and the Grands Crus, young and old are invited to solve a mysterious mystery at Cave Laly. The suspense begins right from the start: Benoit Laly, the cellar master, left the store yesterday at 6:50 p.m., entrusting his colleagues to close by 7:00 p.m. But in the rush, a Grand Cru was forgotten on the counter… and disappeared! This is where the investigation begins. In groups (of two), you will go from aisle to aisle, from bottle to bottle to try to uncover the culprit and retrieve the secret code that will allow you to access a tasting of selected wines from the cellar*.

Since the beginning of July, more than 300 people have already participated, all of whom are delighted with their experience! This is the first year that Cave Laly has held such a summer event… which will undoubtedly return every summer, according to Benoit Laly.

The entire Wine Cellar team worked on this project, from the script to creating the different games and puzzles that allow for collecting clues. Most of the stuff was made by them.

Throughout the journey, be attentive, listen… With stickers, puzzles, crosswords, among other innovative and clever games, you will move towards your goal while discovering the world of viticulture and Burgundy grape varieties. Among the players, there are those who focus and strive to solve each puzzle as best they can… and those who take the time to visit the vault and the treasures it contains. Once you identify the culprit, there's the reward: a tasting of 4 or 6 white and red wines*, or a drink for kids and other enthusiasts.
